On the pro side, we are very happy with the television stand we purchased. It came packaged very securely and no pieces were broken or marred. Great buy for the money. Amazon.com shipped it right away and we had free shipping which was wonderful. No other site had that.
Materials were pretty good quality and look very nice once put together. I would recommend this to a friend.
It took us a very long time to put it together. Besides not coming with directions, I had to go on the internet and print out how to put this together. Those directions were awful.
Once this was put together (we spent the whole afternoon) I swore I would never put together another piece of furniture, but not sorry we purchased this.

I received this product via Fedex, box was a little beaten up, but all items were in perfect condition. The instructions were a little confusing. It took me about 1.5 hours to unpack and put together in my limited space. The doors are a little uneven, but they do have screws to adjust them, will adjust later today. This item fit my Denon AVR-3802, LG-bd390, my huge surge strip, VCR and 7 disc dvd changer. There is plenty of room for venting, the back on the other hand will probably be left off or the holes will be cut alot larger for proper venting.

I like my TV stand. It is heavy and sturdy and supports my 165lb tube TV in depth and width and height. HOWEVER, when I took the piece out the box it was not what I expected. Like other reviewers noted this item ships horrible. Pieces were cracked especially in the corner of the glass doors and the edges of the top mantle piece were cracked and chipped. Other spots were chipped and there were spots were the chip just fell off. Althought it’s holding up well, time to give the manufacturer a call.

While they have good instructions, it did take 2 1/2 hours to put it all together.
While you can adjust the doors a little, it’s not enough to get the doors to line up correctly.
They need a better system for the door alignment.
I’ve also had to put a piece of 3/4″ plywood on the bottom shelf so that my Tivo remote will work.
The wood trim around the glass blocks the remotes signal.
I’m also a bit concerned about heat buildup, but time will tell.
I did remove all the knockouts in the back panel.
It does look nice as is made pretty well.

This is a great product. It is very heavy in the box, and it is does require assembly, but after it is done, it looks very nice. I now have the techcraft 32 & 48, and both are very nice. I especially like the doors on the front.
