I used this shelf to hold my HD-DVR box and it fits perfectly. The shelf is very simple to install and looks great on the wall. Just make sure you check the depth to make sure it doesn’t stick out too far. Like I said, a digital cable box takes up nearly the whole shelf, but a small DVD player or surround sound speaker might not.
For the price, I doubt you can do any better than this one!

This shelf is comfortably holding a 12-pound Epson Home Cinema 1080 Home Theater Projector. Just make sure that you screw it into a wall stud. I used this stud finder: Zircon MultiScanner i700 OneStep, which worked well even with my plaster/lathe (as opposed to drywall) walls.
The shelf looks good and was fairly easy to install, given my weak handyman skills.
Note that I installed it standalone, instead of as a part of the full Vantage Point shelf system.

This shelf has cleared up the clutter I have had in my room for a long time. I purchased two of these shelves, one for my PS3 and the other for my cable box. They fit awesome, plus the solid construction of the steel and the glass help me feel relieved to leave my PS3 sitting on the shelf. Overall, the shelves are solid, well-priced, and are a plus to have for in any home with many entertainment devices.

It was simple to install and did exactly what it was bought to do, which was store the dvd player near the TV on the wall. It looks nice and does not take up much room. I purchased new from Amazon and had a good experience. Previously I had attempted to purchase one from a private party the BC Trader and it delayed my purchase by several weeks because the item was never sent.

This shelf was very easy to put up and looks great holding my Dish receiver and my Sony DVD home theater receiver.
